MAXCO Chain Freedom Series: Premium Performance and Value

MAXCO Chain’s Freedom Series chains are a smart choice for OEMs and maintenance engineers seeking premium performance and value in a maintenance-free roller chain.

MAXCO Freedom Series utilizes sintered bushing material to provide a self lubricating maintenance free product. These chains feature the addition of rollers to reduce friction and allow for smoother operation over sprockets, while specially coated pins and link plates help prevent rust and improve the chain’s wear life.

The PT-Type series features slightly modified dimensions that achieve the same strength and working load values as standard ASME/ANSI chains. This allows direct replacement for many slow to moderate speed drive chains.

PT-Type series roller chains operate on standard sprocket tooth forms and are available in single strand construction from size 40 (½” pitch) to 120 (1.5” pitch).

C-Type chains are dimensionally equivalent to standard products and are available in single and double strand. These chains are not as strong as the PT-Type, so care must be taken to ensure the chains possess sufficient strength when replacing standard carbon steel chains.

Freedom Series maintenance-free roller chains are available in nickel plated and Aqua-Series II. They operate within a temperature range of 4°F-160°F.
