Improve Wear/Life Performance with MAXCO Chain Chromium Pin (CRP) Roller Chains

MAXCO Chain’s Chromium Pin (CRP) roller chains provide double or triple the expected chain wear-life in abrasive applications thanks to their hard chrome-plated pins.

The surface hardness of the chromium layer is HV900-HV1100 (Vickers Hardness), which can double or triple the working lifetime of standard ASEM/ANSI roller chains even in highly abrasive applications.

CRP chrome plating provides an ultra-hard wear surface that performs exceedingly well in highly abrasive operating conditions or applications where lubrication is not possible. This reduces wear-driven elongation when lube cannot be reliably maintained.

CRP roller chains operate on standard sprockets. They possess the same working capacities in terms of loads and speeds as standard roller chains.

MAXCO Chain’s CRP chains are a drop-in, hard-wearing upgrade that can deliver two to three times more life in highly abrasive or low-lubrication applications.
