Laminated Wood Flights are manufactured from second-growth timber grown in the lnland Empire of the Pacific Northwest. This guarantees a perpetual supply of raw material. This timber is grown and harvested using established guidelines by State regulations and self-regulation by the timber industry.

Second-growth timber is the only naturally renewable building material, and the cycle of growth is an added benefit. When a young forest is growing, it produces 1.07 tons of oxygen and absorbs 1.47 tons of carbon for every ton of wood. Harvesting a mature forest sequesters the carbon in the wood, meaning it will not be released into the atmosphere. Demand for wood keeps our forests growing, thus insuring the benefits not only to our economy but also insuring the natural benefits through absorption of carbon and production of oxygen.
